What a weekend

It's been a really busy weekend...Friday after work gamethyme and I went to Borders to pick up some books ('cause that's our idea of a hot date, y'know, hitting the bookstore), and then to P.F. Chang's for reeeeeally good pseudo-Chinese food. Mmm...then off to see Dukes of Hazzard, which was, well, about as good as you'd expect it to be. Note: Jessica Simpson can NOT pull off Daisy Duke. Daisy Duke just *played* ditzy. Also, Jessica Simpson doesn't have the ass for those shorts.

Yesterday, I took gamethyme to work, then went to susiebird and redsouffle's place to get stuff for Saturday game night. We went grocery shopping after much candid girltalk (always fun), then came back and started making dinner. I made my usual, which I think I'm going to have to hereby dub "Stephie's nummy chicken stuff" (it's a really cheap and quick arroz con pollo). gamethyme showed up afte work, as did everyone else, and we had a blast. We were very glad that there were no children around - otherwise, those kids would be getting one hell of an education regarding swearing and vulgar insults. Hehe.

Today, we met up with quizro and ryhopewood at Ruby's Diner, then went with them to look at a couple of apartment complexes, as they are thinking of moving closer to his work in Kirkland. We were able to go into one place - most of the others' offices were closed - and it was a reeeeally nice place. Got me thinking a bit. No worries, though - no moves until after the wedding at the earliest, if then. After all that, and wandering around the beauty that is downtown Bothell, they left us to head back homewards, and we wandered the mall for a bit, Building a Bear (named Bearnard - all Eric's fault!) and going to see Must Love Dogs which surprised me. I enjoyed it ever so much.

Now, home, wondering why the hell it's Monday tomorrow already. Mmm, sleep. :)
