Can y'all do me a favor? Give me some good news.

Pictures of adorable children, puppies, kittens, whatever. You remembered where you parked, your boss gave you a compliment, you've got a good lead on a job, something. Anything. You saw flowers blooming, the weather matches what you prefer (be that sunny, rainy, or something else entirely), your lunch was good. I just...I need to remember that it hasn't all gone to crap. That while the bad may seem to outweigh the good right now, it will swing back around. Hell, even tell me I'm being melodramatic, stupid, and oversensitive about everything, especially since I'm one of the lucky ones right now. Just...help?

He's rolling over a lot these days, but he can only over in one direction (to his right). So he will actually roll himself across the room!

He'll be five months on Saturday.

I walked across the GWB to the Cloisters today, and it was lovely and I will be posting pictures...very peaceful place, very spiritually uplifting...and on the way back, I got asked out by the COPGUY WHO DOES SECURITY ON THE GWB. The reason I'm mentioning this as a good thing was the way he did it, which amused the almighty living hell out of me...he called me over, and said, "Please PLEASE tell me you're twenty-five, single and Irish." My response was the honest one; "Twenty-seven, very married, and I have no idea."

So he gave me a dollar, I guess out of sympathy towards my not being sure if I'm Irish or not. I think I'm going to keep said dollar and not spend it, on account of that being rather ballsy of him.

Well, I can post using my really pretty River Tam icon :)

For general good news, my credit card is almost completely paid off so I can ignore them being stupid about the interest rate.

My father used to say that any day above ground was a good day. But sometimes I know that's just not enough. Soooo... can I name more than one thing?

1. I woke up to birds this morning. We keep our window open so I hear birds in the morning in the bush right outside the window.
2. There were cute waddling duckies in the parking lot at work this morning.
3. I LOVE YOU, FRIEND!
4. Something Norwescon this way comes. :)

Ok, and I have a fresh one, from just this morning. The guy ahead of me in the drive through at Starbucks randomly paid for my drink, for absolutely no other reason than that it was a nice thing to do. I did the same for the person behind me, just cuz. :)
