So, nire is coming into town today. Yay! On the other hand, it has meant a rather intensive cleaning effort for the last couple of weeks. We've done pretty well, actually - while the place still looks cluttered (because really, between the books, the board games, and the DVDs, we don't have nearly enough shelf space), it doesn't look dirty anymore. Last night was the last big push - laundry, dishes, and...

The bathroom. Dun dun DUN!

I was able to rediscover the bathroom counter pretty easily, and the sink and even the toilet weren't that bad. It was the tub that required the most work - that sucker grabs hold of dirt and does NOT want to relinquish its grasp. It was an epic battle, but I finally won in the end. It's not perfect, but it's definitely in the realm of "clean" instead of "needs cleaning". The floor still needs work, as the mop has gone AWOL, but the dust bunnies have been beaten into submission for the most part.

nire's flight got delayed, so we'll have a bit more time when we get home to finish the last load of laundry and tidy up the kitchen a bit before we pick her up. Then, tomorrow it's work, Game Night, NORWESCON! Woo!
