I gotta learn to move on. Now.
PHYSICAL AND SPATIAL PERSPECTIVES
THE AGE OF MY PHYSICAL HUSK IS: 22
VERBAL SNAPSHOT: Long dark brown/almost black hair, brown eyes, dimples. On the short side of average, on the heavy side of average.
THE CLOTHES THAT MAKE THE MAN [or woman]: Cargo pants and sweaters of late - it gets cold at work. Sneakers so's I can chase down my charges. When I get dressed up, it's usually some long skirt or dress slacks, a dressy sweater or blouse, and my ass-kicking boots. 3-inch heels. Life is good.
WHERE IN THE WORLD IS SETAUUTA: Tigard, OR
INTO A DISTURBED MIND
MENTALLY I AM: foolish but not stupid, mercurial, reasonably intelligent in the book-smart sense, having of some common sense, and doing much much better than this time last year.
THE INNER SAINT [VIRTUES]: generous, intelligent, generally able to cheer folks up with a single hug
I, SHAITAN [VICES AND FLAWS]: weak, bitchy, whiny, needy, unable to ask for what I want/need
ON ROMANCE AND GENDER: I wouldn't consider myself a girly girl, though I have been known to wear makeup on a regular basis. As for romance, hell if I know. It'd be nice if I could find a soft place to fall. I've been the strong one and the one who fixes things in the past a lot, and frankly, I'd like to let that go a bit.
THE DATING POOL: Da-ting? What is this da-ting of which you speak?
IF I WERE A SONG I’D BE: something melodious and pretty until you turn up the bass, when it becomes much harder and rhythmic.
THE MUNDANE HO HUM OF THE DAILY GRIND
EDUMACATION: High school saluditorian, graduated from Reed May 2003 with a BA in Spanish Lit/Theater
BUTCHER, BAKER, CANDLESTICK MAKER [PREVIOUS INCARNATIONS]: library page, Commons cashier/food server, circ desk worker at college library, house manager, makeup designer, facility manager for Oregon Children's Theater, editor, stage manager
THESE DAYS: SMART coordinator at Barnes Elementary. Basically, I set up schedules, get volunteers in to read with kids, and watch to make sure no funny business happens.
QUE SERA, SERA [THE FUTURE]: 2 MORE DAYS UNTIL WE'RE OUT!! Grad school in the fall, hopefully. Eventually, in a dream world, working as a free-lance literary translator and being able to work in my pajamas.
New icon! It's Milky chasing invisible bugs again.
