*bounce* It's been a wonderful weekend, particularly literarily. I got my books back from the ex, which was significantly less icky than it could have been (though I realize I didn't get Machiavelli back - but you know what? He's not worth the trouble. Sorry, Mach!), and then we went to Powell's. "We" meant Erin and Eric and I - Erin and Eric's meeting went well. One of my best friends and my boyfriend get along! Huzzah. :)

Anyway, between all the books from the ex, Powell's, and the books Eric lent me, I now have in my hot little hands:

Utopia - Sir Thomas More
Candide - Voltaire
The Conquest of New Spain - Bernal Díaz
Pensées - Blaise Pascal
Inferno - Dante
Life is a Dream - Calderón de la Barca
Praise of Folly - Erasmus
The Book of the Courtier - Baldesar Castiglione
Gatherer of Clouds - Sean Russell (Eric's)
Sword Dancer - Jennifer Roberson (Eric's)
Storm Front - Jim Butcher
World Without End - Sean Russell
Politically Correct Bedtime Stories - James Finn Garner
Stardust - Neil Gaiman

*bounce* Now, it's just a matter of figuring out which to start with...:)
