Saturday: Eric & Stephie time! Basically, we planned a couple of weeks ago to spend this past Saturday just hanging out with each other - not going to visit friends or any of the other stuff we've been doing every weekend for the past several weeks. It was wonderful. We watched a couple of movies, grabbed lunch, and went driving around Everett. I found yet another side effect of being a military brat: being homesick for dang near every place I see. I managed to get nostalgic for about three different places in the course of that one drive. *sigh*

Sunday: Hanging out with Stultz and Deleva. They came to visit, we went to Mr. Bill's, watched some movies, and then Deleva and I played cribbage while Eric played NFL 2005 on the XBox and Stultz watched him play, saying over and over that he needed to get that game. (It is a lot of fun to watch, I admit.)

Monday: Woo, holiday pay! Basically, paid over $20/hour to come in for my normal 8 hours. 'Course, no one told the customers it was a holiday and that they weren't supposed to be calling in, so it was ri-damn-diculously busy. Then home, cursing being female yet again, laundry, and sleep.

Random: I beat Fable! Well, the regular storyline, at any rate. Took me about five tries to beat the last bad guy, which frustrated me more than most games ever do. But, I found out that if you wait through the credits, you can keep going with the game after that last battle. So now I'm going to go around, do as many side-quest thingies that I can, and basically have fun. I adore this game. :)

Now: Back to work! And only 19 more days to NaNoWriMo!

Yay for NaNoWriMo! It means I don't need to wrestle for the controller!

Eep! Thanks for reminding me to sign up. I'm not sure what my chances are, but I do know that this is going to be my first non-academic, non-horribly-sick November since my first day in pre-school. Charge!

Yay, she's still alive! I was starting to worry that you'd been abducted by aliens...or dwarves, given the company you've been keeping. ;) Huzzah for couple time, and beating the video game.
