We open on Thursday. The preview's tomorrow. The more I read the other translation I found, the less confidence I have that my translation is any good. Theoretically, this is the sign of a good translator, since there's never any one "true" translation. You're supposed to never be satisfied with your work. So it's a good thing. I think.
So, Chapter 2 uber-rough draft (read that: handwritten draft) is finished. It's short, but it's better than good, it's done. At least for right now. Yay me!
Rehearsal went really well tonight. Tomorrow we have an audience for the first time, which will be all sorts of exciting and whatnot. By the end of this week, I'll be done with my production and a year older. (My birthday's on Sunday. :) )
Now the real question is, do I start drafting Chapter 3, or do I go home and putz around for awhile? Decisions, decisions...
