The weekend news

Saturday: Much shopping with Erin at Saturday Market and Powell's. Man, I love Portland. Also saw 'Mona Lisa Smile' - I rather liked it, but I can see why others might not. Chatting online until pretty late, when anxieties suddenly snuck up and smote me. Woo-ha, I say.

Sunday: Saw "the Santaland Diaries" by David Sedaris, and "A Christmas Memory" by Truman Capote. Much much goodness. Both one-act, one-man shows, both done by the same actor. Really impressive. It helped that I got my ticket for free since I have a friend who works with that theater. Yay. :) Then to Mom's office Christmas party. Ugh. Some of those folks are pretty nice, but by and large, ugh. Anxieties started rearing their ugly heads again, despite 12.5 mg of Zoloft, but I made it home before things got bad.

There is much sleep in my future. Life, she is not too bad.
