Birthday report

'Twas a pretty quiet birthday this year - well, considering it's not a 'milestone' year or anything. It was Game Night, so there were people to come over and game with. Mandy and Gahan brought me flowers (yay!) and chocolate (double yay!), and Natalina brought these absolutely glorious chocolate mini-loaves covered in caramel sauce. Mmmm.... Eric made dinner, complete with lumpy biscuits with cheddar (one of which I'm munching as I type this). My mother called to 'officially' sing at me (basically, "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, etc. and so forth." I love my mother. :) ), and we chatted for a bit. Jim dropped by before leaving for Spain (lucky dog).

So, swag report:
Navia Dratp booster and Worms Forts from my Eric (squee!).
Gift cards from Target, Fred Meyers, Blockbuster, Barnes and Noble, and...someplace else, I think; the book "Bad Cats" (fabulously awful pictures of cats looking like they're ready to kill someone), some jewelery, and a couple other little knick knacks from my mother.
Gift card to Target from my brother and sis-in-law (which they can't really afford...worryfret).
This absolutely gorgeous cross stitch design, Teresa Wentzler's Egyptian Sampler, with all the cloth, beads, and (almost all) thread needed to complete it, from Eric's folks. Yeah, I'm in. :)
Lots of good wishes.

Overall, a pretty good birthday.
