Neville & Trevor

*sigh of contentment*

Last night Eric and I had a date, for the first time in awhile. We went to dinner at this little restaurant by Eric's work, Pasta Fresca. It was positively marvelous. I...have no idea what the hell I had to eat, since there was no menu and there was simply food that kept appearing on the plates. The owner seated us and then asked us what we didn't like to eat. We chatted for a few minutes, and then the waitress started putting food on our plates. We started with some kind of appetizer that looked to be a mushroom covered in mozzerella and some kind of tomato sauce. Then a salad with creamy dressing, and then the main courses started coming. We had plates in front of us, and the waitresses kept coming around with serving plates and putting food on our plates. There was pasta involved, that much I know, and meat - one that looked like lamb, something that involved chicken, and I had prawns - Eric didn't, because he doesn't like seafood. Overall, the food was spectacular.

After dinner, we went to see Sweeney Todd at the 5th Avenue Theatre. I haven't been to a play or musical in awhile, and the theatre was phenomenal. The show itself was wonderful - the Sweeney was awesome, though a bit more over-the-top than I would like in general. Mrs. Lovett was fan-freakin'-tastic, and the rest of the cast was also quite strong. It was the best early Christmas present ever. My fiance > your fiance. :)
