*hiss*

And the hatred for Barbra Streisand grows...

So, people know the song "Send in the Clowns"? It's from Sondheim's A Little Night Music, and is a song sung by a woman who tried to get back together with her ex-boyfriend, who is now married. He rebuffs her, and she sings the song about how stupid she feels now that she's been rejected. The song's fairly straightforward, honestly - "I thought that you'd want what I'd want/Sorry, my dear" and suchlike.

Apparently, when Madame Destroys Broadway decided to record the song, she felt that it wasn't clear enough. So what does she do? She calls Stephen Sondheim and asks him to write another verse to make it clearer. And he said YES! And it's crap! *flail*

I must bring about that woman's downfall. I just don't know how yet. Give me time...
