Back from the mother's

Yay, Mom's. I got to sleep, I got to play with the kitties, and have my 12-pound furrball purr and warm me up as I slept, and I got to not be on campus. Yay! Much happiness.

Now, I'm trying to get my Spanish reading done for tomorrow. Woo-ha, I say. Erin and I have tentative plans to see "What a Girl Wants" this week, mostly to mock it and see pretty scenes of London. I'm getting to like that girl more and more...yeah, I think it's a crush. Mrph. If it weren't for the whole Mom factor, this wouldn't be a problem. However...

ANYWAY. Back to work with me.

Does the "mom factor" mean that your mom isn't thrilled (or isn't aware) about the possibility of you having a girlfriend? pshaw! Dude, it's the end of college. Live it up while you can and if you end up wanting to marry a woman, then you can explain things to your mom. I'm sure she just wants you to be happy. If I were a mom, I'd much rather my daughter be running around with another girl, rather than some corruptive renegade devirginizing male. *shudder* Oh good heavens no! Girls are much nicer. :)

I absolutely concur with Julia there. She doesn't have to find out anyway. (Good god, my mom never knew about my exgirlfriend...I hope.)

Besides, you'd be surprised at the power of denial.

And we do know that setauuta's mom is REALLY GOOD at denial. :) I vote "go-for-it!"

What will happen, will happen. Good luck, babe, and like they said, your mom doesn't need to know about anything unless and until it becomes serious.
